The RJM community offers low cost housing in the San Diego area for about 70 women of all ages. One community member does pastoral ministry at St. Rita’s Parish. The other sisters minister to the residents in various ways.

One of the sisters offers child care before and after school at Our Lady School in a poor area. Another one offers part-time tutoring at a public school. A sister is the administrator of Joan of Arc Residence, regional superior, and a member of the Provincial Government.

The sisters are involved in the pastoral ministry of the parish. One sister teaches at the parish school. One sister is involved in the Parish Sacramental Program and RCIA. Another sister is Director of Religious Education at St- Didacus Church, while another is a member of the volunteer staff at the same parish. One elderly sister continues her commitment to the poor by collecting much-needed funds.
